Day 28: All grown-ups were children first

Philippines

Playing with your best friends in the world all day without a care in the world.  Kids are innocence personified and we can learn a lot from them.  As soon as we arrived on the island of Palawan after a short flight, we set out on foot and came upon a old church plaza ruled by youth.  They were playing a game that seemed like a cross between hot potato and dodge ball so we had to join in.  The girls took it easy on me and the group of boys were successful at scaring Márcia with a pet spider that was housed in a little match box.  It’s great to remember what it was like being a kid.
