The World’s Busiest Crosswalk lives up to it’s name and is entertaining to watch from afar. There are three main streets that intersect behind Shibuya station and those that are light on their feet maneuver easiest to the other side once the signals change green. The area is a popular hangout spot for teenagers and I kind of felt like we were at the mall with all the youth around. Some of the girls have a fashion taste that reminded us of a few of the outfits my 6-year-old niece selects. The streets are lined with boutique shops, restaurants, night clubs, super-loud casinos, and karaoke parlors. For some it’s an all night activity but we just got a private room for 30 minutes and I did my best Bon Jovi and sang backup on the Beyoncé medley.
So the girls there are wearing leggings and unicorn tshirts?
Yes, we saw multiple variations of that exact combination. Anything goes…
