Day 350: Now, that’s a beach

Mexico

Our private beach outside of Tulum

While the beaches we visited in the Philippines and Indonesia hold a special place in our hearts and minds, their counterparts around Tulum on Mexico’s Maya Riviera are idyllic as well.  With the soul-warming sun, crystal-clear waters, fresh sea air, and fluffy white sands, they are among the best that we’ve walked, played, and snoozed on.  Riding our rented cruiser bicycles, we stopped off at a hidden inlet area that we shared with just a few other people.  The quiet tranquility of the gentle waves knocking into the giant boulders was enough to put our lights out under a palm tree.  Words can’t describe the natural beauty and we were in awe once again of God’s magnificent creation.
