Day 211: One stop shop

Doris’ older sister, Rosa, is an insightful pharmacist with a keen sense of business that always has an eye on the future.  She bought a lot of land in her early twenties and developed it into a building for her pharmacy along with commercial spaces to rent, and a nice sized apartment on the third floor for her family.  There is a busy outpatient clinic nearby so the well situated pharmacy gets a lot of foot traffic and people are always in and out the door.  Early on she saw an opportunity to expand beyond selling just medicine and thought people might be interested in picking up something else to go along with a prescription.  So she started selling some nick-nacks and has since expanded to clothes, electronics, and jewelry.  A strong, confident woman who knows what’s what, we admire her enterprising nature and welcoming personality.

Pelo pouco que estamos com ela, já deu para perceber o quanto ela é trabalhadora, guerreira e empreendedora. A irmã mais velha de Doris, já se tornou nossa amiga! Com todas essas qualidades, ser farmaceutica e ter somente uma farmácia não seria suficiente. Há 26 anos atrás ela vendia só remédios, mas com o passar do tempo, as pessoas compravam o necessário medicamento, mas se tivesse algum presente, comprariam também para a pessoa enferma. Foi ai então que Rosa, transformou a farmácia em metado lojinha metade drogaria. Estando ao lado de uma clínica, o movimento é grande nas vendas das drogas. E por ser um comércio de bairro, os vizinhos não precisam ir muito longe para comprar um presentinho de aniversário para os familiares. Mas conveniente que isso, só morando no mesmo prédio, no andar de cima! Mulher de sucesso!
