At Playa Carrillo, we found a quiet, idyllic setting that is off the trodden tourist trails and free from the masses that we’ve encountered in Costa Rica. The small beach village is accessible through the larger, more popular, and almost as quiet town of Sámara that is just 7 kilometers away. The area is home to several postcard-perfect beaches on the Pacific’s properly nicknamed “Gold Coast” and is a great spot to beach hop. We enjoyed the calmish waters, the shady palm trees, and the tranquility of having the beach all to ourselves as we enjoyed a scenic sunset.
De volta para a praia, só que agora no Pacífico. Aqui a tranquilidade toma conta do ambiente. Fora da rota turística, a vila de Playa Carrillo é super calma e agradável para passar uns dias. Se quiser um movimento, Playa Samara fica apenas há 7km da calmaria. Mas, não é o nosso caso, vamos relaxar e aproveitar a brisa. Não é para menos que as palmeiras, as águas tranquilas com um sol perfeito se tornam o cartão postal da costa pacífica.
